The Effect of Microbes and Fly Ash to Improve Concrete Performance

This paper presents the application of�fly ash�combining with microbes in concrete to reduce cement content.�A class F fly ash as replacementwas applied ratios of 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% hydration heat. Microbes from bacterial consortium were filler increase compressive strength. The mix design SNI 03�2834�2000 was for a strength target 30 MPa. mechanical test carried out consisting tensile test.�Concrete�workability�and heat measurement performed fresh concrete.�The results showed that maximum 45.10 MPa obtained specimens 30% content.�Application associated with�fly content 40% 48.47 MPa.�It found also increased ash�and microbes.�Hydration temperature decreased of�the ash�content.�This proves can well increasing performance.
